For our 40th anniversary I asked to go see the leaves change! My thought was Tennessee or Georgia mountains but when our group got together to discuss what that would look like it was decided we would go bigger. So our newest adventure is taking us to Maine!!However, we will meander all the way there…..and back.

Join us as we start our adventure in Warner Robins, GA at a FAMcamp campground on Robins AFB. The grounds were very nice with plenty of room on each site should you have extra vehicles. We had a paved level site with grass all around. We settled in just in time for a nice rain. What a great way to settle in to a relaxed evening.

While camping at the AFB we toured U. S. Air Force Museum featuring classic planes, historic displays and a flight simulator. This Museum of Aviation is the 2nd largest museum in the US Air Force, preserving aircraft, inspiring visitors, and educating future leaders.

Much of what we saw brought back memories to my man. Who, btw, served our country proudly during Vietnam. If you happen to be in Warner Robbins, GA, stop by the museum. You will not be disappointed.
