We lingered in Georgia for this stretch of the journey, beginning with a stop to visit our longtime friends, Mark and Cori. It is always a joy to be with them; no matter how many months or years have passed, we fall effortlessly back into the same easy rhythm.

We shared wonderful meals, spent time with a few of their kiddos, laughed until our sides ached, and capped it all off with my very first Braves baseball game.

As always, our time together felt rich and unhurried, and we are already looking forward to welcoming them for a visit before too long.
