Gene was one of those rare souls who never met a stranger. He welcomed every conversation with genuine curiosity, and even when he did not agree, he listened with respect, making sure you always felt that your perspective mattered as much as his own.

He found joy in so many things: a well-played round of golf, the simple pleasure of cooking, the quiet satisfaction of tending a garden, and, above all, caring for his beloved wife of many years, his children, and his grandchildren. Gene loved life deeply and lived it fully.

Though he is missed more than words can say, I take comfort in imagining him enjoying a good game of golf and catching up with old friends. We look forward to the day we see him again. Until then, we carry his memory in our hearts and love him always.
