๐ New Adventure Continues ๐
The Ark Encounter

๐ New Road Trip โข 40th Anniversary โข Maine Bound ๐
God told Noah to build an ark to survive a world-destroying flood, instructing him on its design and the types and numbers of animals to bring aboard. After the flood, God established a covenant with Noah and all living things, promising never to destroy life again with a flood and giving the rainbow as a sign of this everlasting promise.
Driving up to this structure, it is hard to fathom constructing such an enormous vessel in the early days with minimal tools and capabilities. Anything is possible with God though, right?
The Ark Encounter is an amazing visual of what Noah constructed โ a journey never before envisioned. ๐
Stepping inside, the scale of the Ark Encounter becomes even more striking. Each level is thoughtfully arranged to suggest how food could have been grown and stored, how water and supplies might have been managed, and how living quarters could have accommodated Noah’s family alongside representatives of every kind of animal. All of this planning and provision was undertaken for a voyage of completely unknown length, a logistical feat that invites both wonder and reflection.

Many of the animals — including species that are now extinct — are presented in carefully designed spaces, each accompanied by descriptions and interpretive details. There is so much to see, read, and reflect on throughout this experience and the story it represents. If you are RVing across our beautiful country and find yourself near Williamstown, Kentucky, make it a point to stop and spend time at the Ark Encounter; it is well worth the visit.
From here, we are heading to Cincinnati for a long-awaited reunion with dear friends we have not seen in quite some time. More stories and adventures are just around the corner.
Stay tuned โ adventure awaits around every curve. ๐
