We have known Darryl and Kathy for many years, though we haven’t seen them in about 38. It felt like it was high time we paid them a visit. Robert and Darryl worked together in the boating business way back when, and as soon as they were together again, they reminisced about all things boating and how much it has changed.

We spent time sightseeing around Columbus, sampling some local favorites and simply enjoying being together. After that, we headed to Austin to go boating, which was a wonderful experience that brought back so many happy memories.

The night before we left, at dusk, we walked outside to see a herd of deer—bucks, does, and fawns—all over the yard next door. What a treat.

Our next stop was Waco, Tx, where we went to see Chip and Joanna Gaines’ “Magnolia.” It was fun to see, and we enjoyed shopping in all the quaint stores. We grabbed lunch there before heading to our home for the evening in Sanger, Tx, at the Wagon Master RV Park & Alpaca Farm!
